July 26, 2017FTA has updated its Award Management Requirements Circular (FTA Circular 5010.1E) to provide better understanding and clarity regarding:
- FTA’s pre-award authority;
- Extensions to the award end date and period of performance;
- Requirements for award budget revisions and amendments;
- Requirements for indirect costs;
- Program income information; and,
- To correct legal citations, broken weblinks and typographical errors.
The updated circular replaces the March 2017 version of FTA Circular 5010.1E. The revised FTA Circular 5010.1E has a new effective date of July 21, 2017. The new version was posted with a Summary of Page Changes.
The federal requirements identified in the FTA Award Management Requirements Circular are intended to assist grantees in administering FTA-funded projects and meeting award responsibilities and reporting requirements. Recipients have a responsibility to comply with regulatory requirements and to be aware of all pertinent material to assist in the management of federally assisted awards.
Webinars are planned for FTA fund recipients and stakeholders on August 31, 2017, and September 14, 2017, respectively. Registration information for each webinar will be forwarded as the dates approach.
