Project Description
LA Metro is required to submit Uniform Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Reports to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), which must include reporting from its Subrecipients receiving federal transit funds from Metro’s Pass-through Grant.
Project Role
GCAP was selected to provide Subrecipient DBE Program workshops, reporting, and monitoring services for LA Metro. Services include:
- Securing DBE Program Subrecipient Agreements from all subrecipients including the issuance of delinquent or non-compliance letters
- Developing and conducting subrecipient workshops to provide guidance on how to complete the semi-annual Uniform Report of DBE Commitments/Awards and Payments
- Reviewing all semi-annual Uniform Report submittals for completeness and accuracy
- Acting as liaison between Metro Diversity & Economic Opportunity and Grants Departments and subrecipients to provide DBE Program information to subrecipients
