Project Description
CT sought a consultant with the technical skills and knowledge to explore the possibility of revising their current SBE/DBE policy into an agency wide Small Business Development Policy with measurable results.
Project Role
GCAP is performing all aspects of the project which includes 2 phases:
- Phase 1 - Feasibility Study:
- Identifying CT's current SBE/DBE utilization by defining historically missed, lost, or potential opportunties to improve SBE engagement and strengthen CT's vendor list for solicitations
- Assessing community and business development opportunities that promotes sustainable economic growth within the community
- Recommending a path forward
- Phase 2 - Based upon Phase 1 findings:
- Rewriting current SBE/DBE Policy OR
- Creating an Agency wide Small Business Development Policy
