Caltrans Prime Contractor Training

Caltrans’ Office of Business and Economic Opportunity will be holding a training session for prime contractors who bid Caltrans construction contracts on Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in Fontana.

The training will cover a number of the most frequently asked questions from prime contractors:

• How to find certified SB/DVBE/DBE firms to participate on contracts.
• How to document commitment efforts for bidding purposes.
• How to accurately calculate SB/DVBE/DBE commitments.
• SB/DVBE/DBE-related labor compliance.
• Prime contractor reporting requirements.
