Project Description
The City of Santa Monica selected GCAP to provide Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and labor compliance professional consulting services on their 7th Street Construction project.
Project Role
GCAP is responsible for the following tasks:
- Review solicitation documents for DBE language
- Present at pre-construction meeting
- Perform DBE monitoring
- Monitor prompt payment and release of retainage
- Conduct commercially useful function jobsite reviews
- Conduct good faith efforts reviews
- Provide assistance with DBE certification applications
- Develop and implement a Business Development Program
- Enforce Davis Bacon
