September 25, 2020Effective immediately, all local agencies are required to insert the clause from Appendix E of the Title VI Assurance in each federal-aid contract.
There is a U.S. Department of Transportation Order No.1050.2 requirement to add Appendix E, which is not included in Exhibit 4-C: Master Agreement – Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects. All local agencies must include the provisions indicated in Appendices A – E of the Title VI Assurances in all federal-aid contracts between an agency and a contractor.
