Project Description
LA Metro required expert business and technical consulting services for conducting an organizational assessment. At the time LA Metro had an enterprise human resources information system and other custom-built applications. Over the years, their increasing business needs had outgrown the capabilities of the existing systems. As a result, LA Metro sought to acquire professional consulting services to assist in developing business requirements, organizational maturity assessment, and gap analysis, primarily within the Training & Development, and Sourcing/Recruiting business areas.
Project Role
GCAP was selected by LA Metro to provide business and technical consulting services to perform the TMSA. GCAP was responsible for assessing the existing systems, creating process maps for As-Is and Should-Be states, identifying gaps, and developing business requirements. In addition to this, our team conducted interviews, analyzed user needs, researched best practices, and performed benchmarking with agencies of similar size. GCAP coordinated and conducted software demonstrations, provided recommendations for systems, and prepared a detailed scope of work for the future RFP for the system procurement.
