March 2, 2023The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will be hosting a webinar on the agency’s proposed updates and rebranding of the Transportation Disadvantaged Census Tracts (Historically Disadvantaged Communities) tool on Friday, February 24, 2023, 1:00-2:00 PM EST. Registration is open via weblink.
The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of updates, and the forthcoming Request for Information (RFI). Through the RFI, DOT is seeking input and recommendations on the tool and index methodology. DOT leadership will provide opening remarks followed by a presentation that will outline the tool and index.
