The GCAP team has conducted numerous studies in a wide variety of industries in both the public and private sectors. Our staff understands how to examine, analyze, and interpret large amounts of detailed data to deliver comprehensive studies to our clients. GCAP’s experience conducting studies includes:

GCAP has assisted in sixteen (16) availability and disparity studies in California. These studies involve the examination of local industry and United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) contracts awarded in order to determine the utilization of minority and women-owned businesses in the respective marketplace. We have experience conducting state and local disparity studies for such agencies as LA Metro, SANDAG, San Diego Airport, Burbank Airport, Metrolink, North County Transit District, Orange County Transportation Authority, Imperial County, and Caltrans FTA and FHWA. Our team researches and gathers all relevant documentation in order to conduct a thorough quantitative review and analysis. Qualitative data is gathered through interviews of minority and women business owners to ascertain challenges and obstacles related to federally funded contracts. At the conclusion of each study, we provide input to develop a comprehensive report of findings and recommendations.

Through our extensive experience conducting and supporting audits, we have developed an archive of methods, templates and tools, which we draw upon to ensure smooth, effective and efficient audits for our clients. GCAP’s audit services include:
