Project Description: LA Metro selected GCAP to develop and conduct a series of staff trainings to educate and develop core competencies to implement equity at Metro.

GCAP’s Role: GCAP will develop and conduct Equity 101 and Equity 102 trainings, including the following tasks:

  • Equity 101 training (Online/recorded training for 10,400 employees):
    • Benchmarking and research best practices
    • Develop training curriculum
    • Develop in-training assessments/quizzes
    • Storyboard
    • Load training into LMS
    • Develop and send post-training survey
    • Develop post-training discussion group protocol
    • Facilitate discussion groups
    • Develop and send post-discussion group survey
    • Summary report

    Equity 102 training (Live training for board staff, senior leadership, program managers, and project staff):

    • Develop and conduct interviews for frontline workers
    • Develop training curriculum
    • Conduct trainings
    • Develop and send post training survey
    • Develop train the trainer materials
    • Conduct train the trainer trainings
