The San Diego County Water Authority has engaged GCAP Services to develop and implement small business skills training for the purpose of helping companies successfully do business with the Water Authority through the Small Contractor Outreach and Opportunities Program (SCOOP). The main focus of our program will be to facilitate training sessions and mentoring to assist small businesses to become more successful in bidding, securing and performing on Water Authority contracts. Courses offered include:

• Doing Business with the San Diego County Water Authority
• Marketing & Partnering Workshop
• Proposal Writing & Development
• Bidding, Estimating Projects & Bonding
• Project Management

In addition to training courses, we will also be providing small businesses with assistance by providing mentoring services to companies who have completed at least four courses.
