DBE Supportive Services are designed to provide guidance and support to increase highway construction and professional service DBE firm participation in federally funded projects through:
These FREE services are offered to certified and potential DBE firms located in Southern California (Caltrans Districts 7, 8, 11 or 12) that are interested in getting contracts and subcontracts on Caltrans projects. If you qualify as a DBE firm, but have not yet gone through the certification process, you are eligible to participate in the Program. You can attend our free workshops by simply registering online. By becoming a part of DBE Advantage, you can receive free technical assistance, including help completing and submitting your DBE certification application, and assistance developing a business plan.
Our program services are available to DBEs and potential DBEs located in Southern California (Caltrans Districts 7, 8, 11 or 12). In general, a DBE is a for profit business that is controlled by and 51% owned by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) within the meaning of DOT regulations.
